PRP

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a procedure, in which white blood cells and thrombocytes are separated and passed through a micro-filter, and then the resultant enriched plasma is re-injected to the patient. The pure part used in this procedure is obtained from the patient's own blood. Therefore, PRP, a completely natural method, accelerates the healing process of the tissue.

The general purpose is to restore the skin by permanently restructuring the wrinkles and holes. A certain amount of blood taken from the patient's own body undergoes certain processes, and then the rich part of the separated thrombocytes is injected into the skin with small needles.

Aging signs such as wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, wound scars, burn scars, impaired facial contour due to loss of collagen and elastin can be treated with this procedure. Since it is a safe and fast procedure, it can be performed alone or in conjunction with other procedures.

In What Cases Can PRP Be Applied?

  • Anti-Aging Skin Treatments: It can be used to recovery loose and sagging tissues and eliminate wrinkles. It can also be combined with other treatments in a program for this purpose.
  • Treatment of Stretch Marks: With its tissue-restorative effect, it supports the treatment by ensuring the formation of new connective tissues, with the activations that it makes in separated tissues in stretch marks. Stretch marks are always treated by using several systems. Combining it with other procedures creates better results.
  • Spot (Blemish) Treatments: It is a very effective treatment because it involves the repair of damages in the skin tissue, especially during the treatment of spots that develop on skins damaged by the sun.
  • Acne Scars and Wound Scars: In these problems, it is more appropriate to apply PRP in combination with other procedures. Once the scars are reviewed by the physician, the most appropriate and right combined treatment can be planned and administered.
  • Hair Loss: With PRP treatment, weakened hair follicles are reactivated and begin to produce livelier, shinier and stronger hair; and consequently, hair loss returns to normal limits.

How are the PRP procedures performed?

The growth factors help accelerate the slowed cell regeneration, and make the skin look firmer and healthier over time. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) applied to the hair is a process, whereby the haired scalp tissues and hair roots are repaired by using the materials available in your own blood. This method, which can easily be applied and gives effective results, is one of the best medical treatment methods for hair loss.  It is used to stop the hair loss by means of rich materials, provide a healthy hair cycle, and strengthen the hair strands. Since the person's own blood is used in PRP process, it does not carry the risk of any allergies or blood-borne diseases.
The healing process is quite short. Tissue development begins, the damaged hair follicles are repaired, and new strong hair strands begin to be produced in the application area.
